The Accounting Computerization Study Program (CASP) – International Class
The Accounting Computerization Study Program (CASP) was established with an implementation decree 2854/D/T/K-N/2009 from the Ministry of Education and Culture. CASP has the vision to become a recognized vocational study program that is competitive, accountable, and characterized by ethics and character in applying science and technology in computerization accounting, as evidenced by excellent accreditation in 2015 and 2021, while at 2022 CASP get internationally accredited by HEEACT.
The CASP curriculum contains graduate competency standards consisting of the main job profiles competencies: accounting officer, financial data analyst, accounting system developer, information system auditor, and information system manager. CASP graduate competencies align with the business world's and job seekers’ needs and follow national higher education standards.
The development of activities focused on achieving the strategic objectives of the CASP: dynamically increasing the quality of graduates, increasing the number and utilization of applied research on computerized accounting, increasing the number and utilization of community service, improving the quality of education, research, service, and administration services and expand expert services of lecturers internally and externally.
The CASP is designed based on relevance to learning objectives with a structure of 69 credits of theoretical course and 75 credits of practicum courses based on project-based learning (PBL). The learning material is arranged based on the scope and depth of the international content material, which encourages the formation of hard and soft skills that are very adaptive to the dynamics of information technology-based business development.
CASP is supported by qualified lecturers, academic and administrative staff, and online and offline learning resources supporting the achievement of the vision and profile of eligible graduates. CASP is supported by global digital library access.
